We’re not going to lie: if we were celebrities, we’d be wearing all the poshest, priciest things designers could offering us for our red carpet events. Which is why we have newfound appreciation for (from left) Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba and Michelle Williams, who each wore an under-$100 find on the red carpet this week.
Longoria swears she doesn’t care about fashion, but she sure fakes it well while visiting the New York Stock Exchange Tuesday in this cute trench-inspired H&M dress (only $79.95) cinched with a gold belt by the retailer ($17.95). She looks like a million bucks — quite a feat, considering she spent less than $100.
Alba hit a Tommy Hilfger event Wednesday night in a very chic white menswear-inspired look, which she accessorized with a pair of Melinda Maria drop earrings that cost just $80. They add a ton of personality to any look (we’d like them as a contrast to a girlie dress, too) without breaking the bank.
And Williams was also out on Wednesday night at the premiere of Oz: The Great and Powerful, complementing her dazzling Prada dress and shoes with a $29.99 Kate Young for Target clutch. But despite the affordable price point, Williams still got to flex a little celebrity privilege the rest of us don’t have: she got her hand on the piece months before it hits Target stores. We knew it had to be too good to be true!
