Target debuted their amazing Phillip Lim collection on Sunday — and then, just like that, it was gone. The line launched and then sold out in the same day.
Luckily, in what can only be dubbed as perfect timing, Target also announced their next collaboration today during London Fashion Week, and it’s just as sweet (so even if we couldn’t get our hands on anything from the Phillip Lim line, we at least now have something else to look forward to — and we promise to set our alarm clocks for the launch of this one).
Target’s next venture is a spring collaboration with one of London’s most well-known fashion brands, Peter Pilotto, which includes Pilotto himself and his co-designer Christopher De Vos. Set to launch on February 9, 2014 at most Target stores in the country and in Canada, as well as on Target.com, the very London-y line will feature nearly 70 items — all women’s apparel, accessories and swimwear — and most of them will cost less than 60 bucks. Translation? You can rock a European-inspired look for less!
Sadly, Pilotto has yet to release any photos of the items in the collection, so we can’t exactly start salivating over them just yet. But word on the street is that all of the items reek of the brand’s trademark graphic style, and feature very colorful digital prints in bold blues and greens and warm reds and oranges. We like, we like.
Final news: Target’s also partnering with the global luxury online retail brand Net-A-Porter.com to offer fans around the world a slightly more curated selection of items from the collection.
