Lower Manhattan resident and Yale Ph.D. candidate Spencer Wolff is suing yoga instructor and Alec Baldwin wife Hilaria Thomas over claims that he suffered "serious" and "severe" physical injuries and "emotional upset" during a January 15 class at Yoga Vida. Wolff alleges that he hurt himself after Thomas "directed him to perform a dangerous activity at a wall." The lawsuit does not explain how exactly Wolff was injured, though it does blame Thomas's "negligence" and an "overcrowded" space for the accident. While Thomas has yet to publicly respond, her husband chose to get out in front of the issue on Twitter.
After questioning the sanity of the readership of the New York Post and New York Daily News, which both reported the story, Baldwin attacked Wolff:
The couple's lawyers were no doubt happy to see that he chose not to name names this time around.
