The Spice Girls may have called it quits 15 years ago, but Girl Power (and awkward/amazing'90s fashion) live on.
Two members of the now defunct but much-loved girl group, Melanie Chisholm (Mel C) and Emma Bunton, attended Leigh Francis' costume-themed 40th birthday party on Saturday and decided to dress up as their famous alter-egos -- to the delight of die-hard Spice Girl fans everywhere.
"Sporty" (Mel C) wore an Adidas track pants and an England football shirt, piling her red-streaked hair into high ponytail. Meanwhile, "Baby Spice" (Bunton) donned her iconic pigtails, a super mini-dress with platform boots, and (of course) a lollipop as an accessory.
The pair posed up a storm for photographers, flashing peace signs and posting selfies to Instagram, with Emma captioning one photo, "Baby and sporty are back!!!!"
A bewildered Geri Halliwell (who also attended, but disappointingly did not dress up as Ginger) responded, "Confused ?is this u now?!"
