To see the inner workings of what really goes into making a collection in the short few months between two New York Fashion Weeks, the Cut has been following Flora Gill and Alexa Adams, the designers behind Ohne Titel, since they wrapped their spring 2013 show back in September, documenting the process of how a collection builds from sketch to show. Then, the collection that showed at Milk Studios two days ago was but an idea; they wanted to move away from the bold colors and softer shapes of spring and attempt to build minimal, geometric patterns, weaves, and appliques. In our upcoming multi-part video series debuting on Monday, you can actually watch that all unfold, as the Cut follows the duo through inspiration-hunting at Chelsea art galleries; hours-long sketch sessions; critiques from advisers and friends; countless days of snipping, pinning, and sewing; and, oh, a storm named Sandy that shuttered their offices for weeks. For a sneak peek at what you'll see, watch our trailer above.
Check back beginning Monday, February 18, to see part one of the Cut's video series showing how Ohne Titel created their Fall 2013 collection. Stay tuned!
