Serena and Venus Williams Wowed in Statement Dresses at the Beckham-Peltz Wedding

Tennis champions Serena and Venus Williams were two of the many celebrities who attended Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's wedding weekend in Palm Beach, FL. The stylish soirée started with a rehearsal dinner at a Peltz-owned property opposite the family's beachfront home on Friday, April 8. Venus slipped into a red-fringed Bottega Veneta minidress for the occasion with a strappy halter, cold-shoulder details, and a keyhole cutout at the neckline, accessorizing with a gold metallic Alexander McQueen clutch, diamond disc drop earrings, and nude heels.

Meanwhile, Serena worked with her stylist Kesha McLeod to source looks for each occasion, starting off with a metallic mock-neck Balmain minidress with long sleeves, a ruched bodice, and exaggerated '80s-inspired shoulders. POPSUGAR spoke to McLeod over the phone, who explained just how quickly she sourced the Balmain look for her client. "[Serena] told me earlier this week that this was something she was going to," she said. "Serena has a really good relationship with Olivier [Rousteing], who we met in Paris. So this is a buildup of our relationship with him. We fit it on Thursday." Just one day later, Serena was ready to wear the dress with a pair of silver metal sandals and her wedding ring.

As for the ceremony and reception at the Peltz residence on Saturday, April 9, Serena had three different dress options, one of which was by Carolina Herrera, but she ended up in a formfitting, hot-pink gown with a thigh-high leg slit and cutout across the bust. In keeping with the '80s influence, this design also featured padded shoulders, and she played up the bold color palette with pink heels. "It fit her fabulously - it was insane," McLeod said of this second number that Serena chose herself at the last minute following her stylist's earlier departure.

Venus showed off a black Alessandra Rich midi dress, saturated in sequins to give off a liquid effect and finished at the neckline with crystals and a centered brooch. McLeod, who didn't style Venus but did have her tailor help with the fitting, drew our attention to the dramatic leg slit on the Alessandra Rich creation, saying, "V got dressed herself. Her body is insane. That's what it is . . . she has legs for days." Venus finished her wedding-guest outfit with black peep-toe pumps adorned with crystal flowers to mimic the embellishment on her dress, plus a rhinestone-covered box clutch and architectural chandelier earrings with red tassels.

Ahead, see the full rundown of the Williams sisters' stylish weekend, then look back at their recent red carpet appearance together at the Oscars, where Serena went for another full-on pink moment in Gucci and Venus opted for all white in custom Elie Saab.
