Bombshell status achieved. Former Disney princess Selena Gomez is all grown up -- and to prove it, she's strutting her stuff in a series of sexy, 1960s-inspired costumes. On Monday, March 4, the 20-year-old "Hit the Lights" singer channeled her inner siren to film a new video in the California desert.
Sashaying around the Palmdale, Calif., set in a retro red swimsuit with kitten heels and cat-eye sunglasses, Gomez looked like an extra from AMC's Mad Men. She completed the pin-up look with big curls and a chunky gold necklace.

Later, the Spring Breakers star showed off her trim figure in a printed halter-style bustier and matching pants, paired with green pumps and a matching bag. Posing in front of the cameras at an old, abandoned gas station, Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend was the picture of '60s chic. At one point during the shoot, she hopped into a blue vintage car and popped on a pair of oversized shades.
Gomez has been slowly growing out of her squeaky clean teen queen persona in recent months, thanks in large part to her role in director Harmony Korine's gritty new film, Spring Breakers, about four co-eds who rob a restaurant to fund their spring break trip and then fall in with a drug dealer (played by James Franco).

"Disney was my life, and in a way, it's all I knew, so once that ended, I definitely think it was good for me to go to an extreme like this," the Wizards of Waverly Place actress told MTV News of why she took on such a racy role. "That's what was so liberating about it. I felt so safe with Harmony, and I felt so safe with the girls. I was really able to push myself to places even I didn't know I could go. It was great."
