Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland keeps her parents guessing on the show — and she does the same in real life (with less drama) by having fun with her hair.
For instance: She attended the Call Me Crazy: A Five Film premiere in L.A. Tuesday night with brand-new bangs. But don’t get too excited about the new do just yet.
“They’re actually clip-on bangs!” Hyland says. “If you want a change for the night, just for the night: clip-on bangs!”

And while she’s confident about her hair, she’s less sure of her fashion sense just yet. “I think it’s very eclectic,” Hyland tells PEOPLE. “I don’t know exactly what my personal style is beyond whatever it is that I feel like wearing.”
“My stylist brings over racks with a bunch of different clothes … I pick things out and she’s like, ‘I did not think that you would ever pick that out!’, the actress says with a laugh. “And the next week she says the same thing, so I think that my style is ever-changing.”
