Since Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland is no stranger to fun photoshoots (check out last year’s Op ads!) she’s sharing the experience with us, taking PEOPLE StyleWatch behind the scenes of her ads for Heart Calgon.
As the face of Heart Calgon, Calgon’s brand-new, teen-focused line, Hyland shot ads and online videos to reflect each of the four fragrances — and she shared her thoughts and some fun backstage snaps from the shoot.
“[Heart Calgon] is fun because you can go from one feeling to something completely different,” Hyland tells PEOPLE of testing out the different scents for each ad (shown above: “Sweet Crush,” “Rock Steady” and “Fresh Start”).
Of her “Sweet Crush” ad, Hyland says, “I’m actually wearing my own dress! This is one of my favorite outfits because it’s so comfortable but it’s also really cute.”
The “Rock Steady” ad has Hyland in a look that’s definitely a departure for the sweet young starlet, but she doesn’t mind experimenting, saying “Fashion is really important to me.”
And finally, Hyland tells us that her “favorite thing on set today has been the feathers,” which she got to play with while relaxing in jeans and a tee for the “Fresh Start” spot.
