While the 2023 Golden Globes was full of memorable fashion moments, there are always stars who raise the bar with their outfits after the ceremony. This year, young Hollywood rivaled the red carpet with Addison Rae, Dixie D'Amelio, and Sabrina Carpenter showing off their Y2K-inspired looks at late night soirées.
Carpenter, in particular, was a standout, opting for a completely sheer gown that hung off her shoulders and grazed the floor as she walked. The "Nonsense" singer layered the dress over a bandeau and briefs, finishing the ensemble with croc-effect leather boots, a nylon shoulder bag, an "SC" initial ring, a dainty gold necklace, and pearl drop earrings. Meanwhile, D'Amelio was her sartorial opposite in a white halter dress with a rhinestone-trimmed side cutout to play up her sparkling silver sandals.
Kaia Gerber, who has been dating Austin Butler for over a year, was also on location to support the 31-year-old actor as he took home the award for his role in "Elvis." The 21-year-old supermodel chose a decidedly simple, floor-length knit dress with ribbing throughout the bodice and a scalloped trim at the neckline.
We saw outfit changes from the likes of "Wednesday"'s Jenna Ortega, who took off her cutout Gucci dress and slipped into a cutout bustier instead; "The White Lotus"'s Jennifer Coolidge, who won best supporting actress in a TV limited series; and "Severance"'s Britt Lower. Coolidge swapped sequins for lace to walk her second red carpet of the night, whereas Lower kept on her leather, opera-length gloves, but traded in her Bach Mai gown for a simpler, strapless silhouette.
