Rose McGowan is a wild card, to say the least. One day she’s putting Adam Sandler’s film on blast, the next she writes a polarizing open letter on Facebook to Caitlyn Jenner. But while McGowan’s personal politics might leave some people feeling cold, the actress’s new buzzed haircut is getting rave reviews on social media.

In a selfie posted to her Instagram account last night, McGowan revealed her super-daring new hairstyle: a totally shaved head. Unsurprisingly, the buzzed do looks amazing on her, paired with just a simple black tank, a little mascara, and a bold burgundy lip. Even if you don’t care for Rose’s new aesthetic, the actress made it clear she can’t be bothered with a quippy caption that read, “No hair don’t care. Honestly, it’s liberating.” But so far, fans have only shown massive support for the Charmed star’s new beauty look, with comments alternating between raving about how gorgeous she looks and followers reminiscing about the times they shaved their own heads and the styling tricks they used.

In addition to her hair-free selfie, McGowan also posted a black and white video of her hairdresser shaving off her Mia Farrow-style locks as a big smile begins to spread across her face. This is undoubtedly the countenance of a woman who just realized she’s about to save an hour every morning styling her hair.
