Robots Could Be Making Your Next Pair of Yeezys

Some robot-related news straight out of Adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany (gesundheit!): Reuters reports that Adidas has opened a so-called "Speedfactory" in nearby Ansbach, which will be operated mainly by robots. Initially, about 10 people will supervise, but the company hopes to make it fully automated. A German factory entirely run by robots— nope, nothing scary about that!

While the item doesn't say they will make Yeezys, necessarily — just shoes with Boost soles — this is a scenario straight out of Kanye West's 2016 mood board. How can we forget the pivotal moment when he declared to the nonplussed fashion students of Armenia, "I like robots!" If you did, not to worry: You can watch it here on loop. All day.
