Rita Ora enjoyed a studio day working on her album - and did so in grand style. The 32-year-old singer, who is ushering in a new era of music with her single "You Only Love Me," got her hands on a fresh-off-the-runway Vivienne Tam outfit for the occasion. The Fall 2023 design debuted at New York Fashion Week on Feb. 12, so Ora is embracing the look fresh off the runway.
The newly-married star, who works with stylist Tom Eerebout, posed for multiple angles in Tam's colorful ensemble. The micro miniskirt boasts a waistband that gives the optical illusion of multiple layered pieces when in fact it's just one garment. She styled the pièce de résistance with a cropped Solidarity sweater, a puffy quilted NFT bag, and several patches - all an ode to Tam's futuristic take on the Metaverse. Ora's long blond curls emerged from under her sherpa bucket hat and knit balaclava cap, and she sported a glossy, caramel-lined lip, and plenty of mascara. Her deep red manicure was highlighted by multiple chunky rings and her unique emerald engagement ring.
For a fresh spin, Ora did opt for black Western boots underneath her knee-socks, rather than the platforms that were originally shown on the catwalk. Tam commented on Ora's Instagram post, writing, "Love my look on you!! Gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️," confirming the musician did it justice.
This isn't the first time we've seen Ora in a micro miniskirt. She pulled off the viral Miu Miu version with the brand's polarizing thong boots in New York City on Jan. 31. Ora also showed her affinity for dramatic skirt trends in a cutout leather Nensi Dojaka silhouette that she teamed with a David Koma sweater for an appearance on "Live With Kelly & Ryan" in early February. More recently, we saw her in an entirely sheer dress with a feathered trim for a Grammys pre-party, and walking the streets of LA in UGG's infamous "ugly" slides.
