Rihanna‘s “doobie wrap:” If you happened to be on Twitter at the moment Rihanna took the stage at the AMAs, you may have noticed an explosion of people expressing shock that she went out in a “Doobie” — a wrapped and pinned style used to keep a hairstyle fresh. Most of the reactions were something like the below, though we wonder how Latina grandmothers wore pearl-encrusted pins in theirs.

Jennifer Lopez‘s body: She’s 44. She wore about the same amount of clothing as 21-year-old Miley Cyrus and looked equally amazing — perhaps more so, as Lopez wore glamorous, glittering Zuhair Murad and Cyrus was in a cat-print number that showed off the excellent work of her waxer.
Christina Aguilera‘s new look: Her impressive slimdown is old news at this point, but what we’re really digging is how she’s dressing her svelte new shape. She took the stage in a simple black tank, shimmery lipgloss and an understated, chic braided do and looked lovelier than ever. More of this, please!

And in the hair changes department…
Jaimie Alexander’s bangs: The last time she was on a red carpet, we were all discussing her dress. Last night, it was all about her piecey new bangs, which she said was for a role. “I’ve never had fringe before. It’s really short. Right now it’s almost like I’m channeling Lydia from Beetlejuice,” she told PEOPLE. “I’ve been under a baseball cap most of the weekend but I’m learning how to style them.”
Ciara’s super-short bob: The newly engaged star continues to go ever-shorter. Last night she wore a bouncy, chin-length cut to go with her body-baring dress — and we love the length on her.
Kylie Jenner’s bangs: She may be a Jenner, but that’s purely Kardashian hair: Ombré, wavy, shiny, layered and — oh yeah — with bangs that may or may not be just for one night. Cute, though!
