Rihanna's much-anticipated Super Bowl LVII halftime show saw her in her own edgy brand of athleisure and also confirmed the news that she's expecting baby number two. Styled by Jahleel Weaver, the 34-year-old singer sported a red Loewe utility jumpsuit casually unzipped to reveal a vinyl bra cup above her baby bump, just barely visible in her spandex mockneck bodysuit. While she began the performance in a cropped leather Alaïa coat and matching gloves, she eventually shed the extra layer, finishing her 13-minute set in a longer version of the same jacket, which was a tribute to late journalist Andre Leon Talley, who once wore a similar design.
Rihanna's outfit was accessorized with sparkling diamond brooches, earrings, and a bracelet from Messika, and she sported Maison Margiela x Salomon sneakers that cinched at the ankle. The star's hair was tied back into a ponytail with loose pieces framing her face, and she wore glistening silver eyeshadow, a bright red lip, and a scarlet manicure, touching up her makeup with Fenty Beauty powder while she was on stage.
Of course, the evening was not without a Savage X Fenty piece or two, with the brand tweeting about the custom mesh sports bras, boxers, and tanks the dancers wore. Their all-white looks were finished with shield sunglasses and dark lipstick, in stark contrast to Rihanna's outfit.
Meanwhile, there were plenty more stars who shared Instagrams of their own Super Bowl outfits, whether they were watching from home or the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Both Cara Delevingne and Kerry Washington showed off the Savage X Fenty limited-edition merch tee, which reads "Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game, weird but whatever." And Sheryl Lee Ralph proved she was on the same wavelength as Rihanna in a red Harbison jumpsuit with dramatic puff sleeves.
