On Monday, we were totally bewildered by Jessica Chastain‘s sheer-thigh trousers. Tuesday we tried to make sense of Justin Bieber’s drop-crotch pants fixation.
Now we’re facing yet another pants crisis of epic proportions: Rihanna‘s dual-zip, dual-wash pair of jeans.
Perfect for the gal who feels that a single pair of jeans is just too flattering, or for one who likes the look of pants hanging off her butt while still giving a “mom jeans” vibe, these trousers are actually an original Rihanna design, part of her critically-lambasted collection for River Island.
And what we find even more distressing than the pants themselves is that the $150 pair has already sold out at River Island’s website — meaning that we’re doomed to see girls who aren’t Rihanna trying to pull this look off.
But since three’s a trend, maybe we’re the crazy ones, and these unusual pants are here to stay.
