Well before he parted ways with Emilio Pucci after this past Milan Fashion Week, rumors had swirled that Peter Dundas's next move would be succeeding Roberto Cavalli at his eponymous label. Today, Women's Wear Daily is reporting that Dundas has been named creative director at the house, with his first collection set to walk at MFW in September. (What this might mean for his daily cross-continental plane commute is still unclear.) We've reached out to Roberto Cavalli for a comment and will update this when we hear back.
Dundas had been at Pucci since 2008. Now rumors of his successor there — which seem to center around Marco Zanini, formerly of Schiaparelli — will be the next talking point.
