The (Real) Biggest Winners of Awards Season: J. Law and Naomi Watts

Move over, Lincoln. You may have cleaned up at all the awards shows this year, but when it comes to style, there are two obvious champions and their names are Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts. The Best Actress Oscar winner and the Best Actress Oscar nominee tirelessly traveled from red carpet to red carpet over the past few months, making phenomenal style choices at nearly every stop. So it should come as no surprise that they ended up on our Best of the Best Dressed list not once, but a whopping three times each.

Watts first popped up on the list thanks to her stunning Alexander McQueen halter, which she selected for the People’s Choice Awards. (We weren’t the only ones to fall in love with it: model Chrissy Teigen surprised everyone by wearing the same gown to the Oscars after-parties.)

The actress earned another two spots on Oscars night, first in her gunmetal sequined Armani Privé dress, with its cool asymmetric neckline, and later in the evening in another asymmetric creation: a one-shoulder Emilio Pucci gown. The woman clearly loves her sequins.

Lawrence easily snagged three places on the list (and we probably could have given her more, but we had to contain ourselves). The first honor goes to her Dior Haute Couture column, seen at the BAFTA Awards. The second goes to (duh) her Oscars gown, that double-wide dress (also Dior Hate Couture) that fit her so perfectly. And the third goes to Lawrence’s post-show pick, a sexy Calvin Klein Collection sweetheart-neckline gown.

Tell us: Who do you think was the absolute best dressed celeb this awards season: Naomi Watts or Jennifer Lawrence?
