With chic movies like Blue Jasmine packing your cinematic experience with as much style as a runway and the Chopard-packed Diana poised to do the same, watching the silver screen is nearly on par with flipping through the September issues.
Rush, a movie with far more eye candy than just Chris Hemsworth sporting a retro race-car jumpsuit, speeds by the pack (pun intended) with a glam '70s wardrobe. Tasked with dressing Ron Howard's beautiful cast, which also includes Olivia Wilde, costume designer Julian Day turned to Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Piaget's archives. We spoke to Day about his design process and got a sneak peek at the ensembles we can look forward to when the film hits screens on Sept. 20.
