Priyanka Chopra is giving new meaning to the naked dress, as she recently wore a Tony Ward Couture gown that was sheer and nude but completely covered in lustrous sequins and beads. Seen in attendance at the opening ceremony for the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, Dec. 1, the 40-year-old star's silk gown boasted swirling, gilded embroidery across the plunging neckline and down the train.
The look, pulled straight from the runway of Ward's latest collection by stylist Law Roach, was a stunning display of glamour. With a cape-like silhouette, the gown hung loose on her frame with sleeves that grazed the floor. Plunging in both the front and back, the deep V neckline was played up by three rows of beaded fringe.
Chopra accessorized with an ornate diamond-and-emerald choker and coordinated earrings. The actress kept it simple when it came to hair and makeup, allowing her beach waves to cascade down her shoulders in a side part, with fairly understated, natural makeup. Though Chopra attended this particular event solo, it was held on her fourth wedding anniversary to singer Nick Jonas. To celebrate, she posted an adorable photo, writing, "Find yourself a guy that reminds you everyday that you're loved. Happy anniversary babe."
Lately, Chopra has been opting for tailored suiting, like her white pants and crop top last month, followed by colorful matching co-ords a few days later. Seeing her sparkling in couture for an evening out felt entirely appropriate, especially in the midst of the holiday season.
