Michelle Obama, as we've already noted, has Fourth of July theme-dressing down pat. FLOTUS knows her way around a red and blue print, and she isn't shy about committing to a theme.
But who knew POTUS also had it in him? For the White House's July 4 celebration yesterday, the president swapped his typical white and navy short-sleeve oxford shirts for a red one, complementing Michelle's blue and white floral dress and red flats. (The frock, for those who noticed, is a repeat -- Mrs. O wore the Boy. by Band of Outsiders dress in June 2012.)
We can't say we're huge fans of President Obama's outfit, which veers dangerously into the "dad" zone he loves so much. (We're having flashbacks to the unfortunate pleated khaki incident of 2012.) But we appreciate some good color-coordination and experimentation.
Check out the Obamas' holiday looks.
