Designer Ralph Lauren is a pioneer in the fashion world, but as September's Architectural Digest points out, this guru has also made strides in decor. As this year marks the 30th anniversary of his home collection that ranges from bedding to furniture, the magazine is taking a look at his amazing homes.
While his Colorado ranch definitely emulates Lauren's all-American, masculine style, we were surprised to see how eclectic his Bedford, New York living room is. The space mixes pieces like 19th-century Louis XV–style wing chairs and a 19th-century Kashmiri paisley beautifully. And although we thought it was a little unusual, we have to admit, the color palette does remind us of a variety of Ralph Lauren polo shirts.
