It's hard to keep all the country music award shows straight (ACMs, CMTs, CMAs... the mind reels.) But the 2013 ACM Awards distinguished themselves this year as having the tamest red carpet of them all.
We generally expect cowboy boots and sequins for miles when country music stars hit the town, as we did at the 2012 CMT Awards. But this year's ACMs were a fairly subdued affair, as Taylor Swift went with a simple silver gown, Carrie Underwood chose florals by Naeem Khan and Sheryl Crow decided to ditch a dress altogether and wear pants. But at least one star decided to outshine the rest: Jewel, who wore a Georges Chakra Couture dress befitting her name.
