Emma Watson’s GQ U.K. cover look may be bewitching, but it’s a far cry from her days as Hermione Granger.
In fact, her look recalls another iconic film heroine: Julia Roberts in 1990′s Pretty Woman.
Though most of us had thought the two-piece dress, joined at the navel with a metal ring, was a piece of movie history, Watson revives it — and makes it her own by pairing it with Ben-Amun rubber bangles and some saucy faux tattoos. She leaves Roberts’s memorable blonde wig behind, but replaces it with one of her own; Watson’s pixie cut hasn’t quite grown out to those great lengths yet.

But for those worried that clean-cut star is losing it, you can rest easy: Watson is dressed as her spoiled, sticky-fingered character in the upcoming The Bling Ring, based on the true story of five teens who committed numerous celeb burglaries in 2008 and 2009.
Gorgeous women committing crimes in Beverly Hills? Seems like not much has changed since the Pretty Woman days after all!
