Cinephiles everywhere are counting down the minutes until the 2013 Academy Awards, carefully reviewing their picks for Best Picture and beyond. But for those of you not exactly interested in the divvying out of the golden statuettes, but still excited for the big festivities, here's some juicy news for you: the Oscars Greenroom is ready.
This week fashion people jumped from London to Milan for the midway point of Fashion Month, taking in the shows via Twitter, Instagram, Vine and occasionally their actual eyeballs.
But other fashion people, like yours truly, had to watch from a distance in order to prepare for the Oscars... or to catch this week's episode of "The Bachelor." Or to snack on some junk food. Or to just, uh, work on their self-grooming habits.
There's a new way to shop for a wedding dress, and it doesn't even require leaving your house.
Bridal designer Kirstie Kelly recently launched a program called "Borrow Me," which allows brides to order gowns from the website, keep them for two days to try on, and either buy them or mail them back. It costs $35 to borrow each dress.
Another bridal company, The Dessy Group, also offers a similar program.
