Nicole Richie is giving Miley Cyrus a run for her money! The 31-year-old Fashion Star mentor arrived at the 2013 Costume Institute Gala sporting a new dye job.

Sticking to the "Punk: Chaos to Couture" theme, Richie rocked gray-blue hair styled in a short updo on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday, May 6.

The stylish mom to daughter Harlow, 5, and son Sparrow, 3, wore a long white embellished Topshop dress that showed off her slim figure. Richie accessorized her look with dark lipstick and spiky earrings.

Before hitting the Met Gala, Richie teased on Instagram that she would be dyeing her hair. "Hair time Met Ball," she captioned a shot of hair color.
