Natalie Portman: Vote for Her Best Oscars Dress Ever!

When it comes to the Oscars, Natalie Portman isn't a standout just for her acting -- she's also a favorite on the red carpet. Year after year, the 31-year-old Black Swan star (and 2011 Best Actress winner!) dresses to impress in colorful, elegant frocks that exude Hollywood glamour.

PHOTOS: Best Oscar dresses of all time

Arriving at the Academy Awards on Feb. 22, 2009, the petite presenter was ethereal in a pink, strapless Rodarte gown with a sweetheart neckline, gorgeous draping, and gem detailing on the bodice. She accessorized the look with Stella McCartney shoes and Kwiat jewelry.

Two years later, on Feb. 27, 2011, the then-pregnant nominee walked the red carpet with her now-husband, Benjamin Millepied, in a different Rodarte design: a stunning, deep-violet, off-the-shoulder gown with chiffon draping and Swarovski crystals. The look, which showed off the Best Actress winner's growing baby bump, landed her on Best Dressed lists for Vogue, Elle, and, of course, Us Weekly.

Last year, the new mom -- to son Aleph, born in June 2011 -- made her dramatic post-baby return to the Oscars in a 1954 vintage red Christian Dior couture creation with all-over velvet polka-dot detailing. The dress received mixed reviews from critics but later proved very valuable. Shortly after the Feb. 26 awards, the gown sold for $50,000 to a British collector in London.
