Millie Bobby Brown just proved that matching every element of an outfit is the way to stand out. For an appearance at the Osaka Comic Con in Japan on May 5, the "Stranger Things" star stepped out in a coordinating red studded crop top, hot pants, jacket, and cowboy boots.
Brown shimmered at the fan convention as the bold color of her 'fit shone in the light thanks to the crystal embellishment covering each of the separates. Even her knee-length cowboy boots were adorned with gem stones. During the event, she joined "Hannibal" actor Mads Mikkelsen as the pair smashed a sake barrel to symbolize new beginnings - an apt moment for Brown as the ring on that finger also marks a new chapter in her life.
With her hair styled into a sleek bun that was spiked out at the back, she added a simple ruby necklace, hoop earrings, and, of course, her impressive new engagement ring. The 19-year-old announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi, 20, on April 11 via a classic black-and-white Instagram photo, captioned with the Taylor Swift lyric: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."
As friends and fans flocked to the comments section to wish the couple the best, there were some who questioned the young age of the couple. But Jake's dad, rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, set the record straight. Speaking on SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live" on May 2, he said: "I don't know if age matters, you know, if you find the right partner and you grow together. I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise."
Brown's ensemble for the opening of the Osaka Comic Con was vastly different and, dare we say, more glamorous than her last public outing. She was spotted holding hands with her fiancé outside Milan airport in Italy on April 28 wearing a lilac Rotate tracksuit accessorized with a cardboard box over her head.
