Miley Cyrus can buy herself flowers - while sporting glamorous designer outfits, naturally. In her "Flowers" music video, which dropped on Jan. 12, the singer rotates through three stylish looks as she croons about self-love and seemingly references her relationship with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. All pieces were chosen by her longtime stylist, Bradley Kenneth, who also provided fashion direction for her recent New Year's Eve special.
Cyrus kicks off the video by strutting through the streets of Los Angeles in a vintage gold lamé gown as she sings the opening verse: "We were good, we were gold / Kind of dream that can't be sold." The vintage dress is from YSL's fall 1991 collection and features a draped hood, crisscross waistline, and prominent cutout that exposes her entire stomach. She styles it with rectangular Saint Laurent sunglasses and metallic heels.
Upon arriving at a house, Cyrus removes the dress to reveal a matching lingerie set from Italian brand La Perla. The lacy bra and briefs are front and center as she lounges poolside, takes a dip, and inexplicably crushes an outdoor workout, as one does in lingerie. Last but certainly not least, after showering the sweat and chlorine off, the Grammy nominee reveals her grand-finale look: a black oversize blazer and trousers from Saint Laurent's fall 2022 collection, worn with nothing underneath as she joyously dances through the house.
Cyrus's outfits have been on point as she teases her upcoming eighth studio album, "Endless Summer Vacation." On the album cover, she hangs from a trapeze bar in a cutout Alaïa bodysuit from the archives, and for a promotional photo shoot, she posed in a white one-shoulder one-piece swimsuit designed by Tom Ford for Gucci in the late '90s.
