Michelle Obama told the AP that she's "absolutely not surprised" about the criticism of her Oscars cameo (apparently some felt she "upstaged" the award-winners). "Shoot, my bangs set off a national conversation," she said. "My shoes can set off a national conversation. That's just sort of where we are. We've got a lot of talking going on." Does it freak her out? "I just don't think about that stuff," she explained. "It's like everybody's kitchen-table conversation is now accessible to everybody else, so there's a national conversation about anything." ANYTHING. It's true.
