Megan Fox went full-blown Barbiecore this past weekend, channeling an iconic Pamela Anderson look in the process. On Sunday, Dec. 4, the actress was spotted at the Audacy Beach Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, supporting her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly in the crowd. For the event, she chose an all-pink look that featured a fuzzy feathered hat, a silent nod to the one Anderson rocked at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1999, designed by Ivy Supersonic two decades ago.
Fox, 36, sported a pair of pink high-waisted cargo pants and a neon-toned knit bralette with underboob on display. Despite her addition of pink, patent pointed-toe heels, the pièce de résistance was clearly her homage hat. Nearly 25 years ago, Anderson wore a corset and sequin-covered pants on the red carpet at the VMAs, topping her look off with the similar aforementioned design.
This is not the first time that Fox has opted for a furry topper - a distinctively late '90s and early aughts trend that has been repeated by the likes of Hailey Bieber, Rihanna, and Bella Hadid as of late. Fox was seen back in October rocking her own cranberry-red iteration with silver jewelry, a black mesh corset, and nylon track pants.
Barbiecore is also familiar to Fox, who stepped out over the summer in a hot pink lamé outfit that even matched her long, pink-toned hair.
While Fox has not outwardly stated that Anderson inspired her latest Florida look, it stands to reason, as she dressed as the "Baywatch" star back in October for Halloween.
