Maya Hawke gave the "no-pants" trend a stylish spin at Milan Fashion Week on Feb. 23. On her way to Prada's fall/winter 2023 womenswear show, the "Stranger Things" star stepped out in a pair of sheer black tights and block heels with delicate ankle straps. She layered the tights under a collared shirt from the brand's menswear collection.
The shirt, which Hawke styled as a dress over a black bodysuit, featured a window-pane plaid pattern in white and baby blue. Across the chest and collar, the piece boasted a wavy white grosgrain embellishment. She wore the shirt partially unbuttoned at the top and bottom, transforming the button-up into an instant minidress. Hawke paired the final outfit with a simple ring and a gold necklace that featured the designer's logo.
Her stylist, Harry Lambert, paired the ensemble with a black Prada handbag and a black leather jacket that hit just below the hem of her shirt. Her hair stylist John Nollet and makeup artist Emma Day rounded out the edgy look with shaggy waves, spidery mascara, and a black manicure.
While celebrities like Lizzo have been rocking the pants-less trend for years, Hawke joins a new batch of stars - including Kylie Jenner - who are responsible for splashing the look across runways and red carpets in recent months.
Ahead, see Hawke's "no-pants" outfit - styled with and without her rock 'n' roll leather jacket - at Milan Fashion Week.
