May 6 marked the fifth time both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen attended the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. As in years past, the 26-year-old fashion designers selected very different red carpet looks. This year's benefit celebrated the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition, and both stars dressed in accordance with the theme.

Ashley brightened up in a vintage Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, which she paired with Manolo Blahnik heels and Sidney Garber earrings. Her twin sister, who will soon celebrate her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, worked a more bohemian vibe in a vintage Chanel Haute Couture gown. Mary-Kate added a vintage Balmain jacket featuring a fur trim, Louis Vuitton heels and Sidney Garber earrings.

Mary-Kate flew solo at the Met Gala in 2012, wearing a dress by The Row, the label she co-founded with her sister five years earlier. When the twins made a joint appearance in 2012, Mary-Kate picked a vintage Givenchy Couture dress, while Ashley modeled a vintage Christian Dior Haute Couture gown.
