On Feb. 2, Lourdes Leon - the daughter of legendary pop star Madonna - got all dressed up to attend Marc Jacobs's spring 2023 fashion show in New York City. But thanks to a now-viral TikTok video, some fans are speculating that she was actually denied entry. In preparation for the event, the 26-year-old model wore a full denim look featuring a long jean skirt with a thigh-high leg slit and a matching bustier top. However, according to People, her seat at the show remained empty.
In the clip shared on TikTok, Leon approached the steps to the Park Avenue Armory in white knee-high boots, reportedly arriving right at the show's start time of 6 p.m. But as the footage rolled on, the security guards were heard explaining that the doors were already closed. Upon hearing the conversations, bystanders started to chant "Let her in!" on Leon's behalf.
Despite the drama, Leon still looked stylish, holding her head up high in her trendy denim outfit. She accessorized her corset-style top with a long-sleeve cropped denim jacket and coordinating bag, leaving her dark hair down and straight.
It's worth noting that Leon has a deeply personal relationship with the Marc Jacobs brand, previously serving as the face of their spring 2021 campaign. Her mother, Madonna, also has ties to the fashion label, so it's safe to assume Leon will remain in good standing with the brand.
Read on to see Leon's striking all-denim look, and take this as your sign to leave the house 10 minutes earlier.
