Have you ever seen a dress with a slit so high it runs up to your neck? Check out this daring detail in action on Lori Harvey's latest look. In an Instagram captioned "Doing me & doing better," Harvey shared a show-stopping gown on Thursday night that bared quite a bit of skin.
In the three images, Harvey stands in an arched outdoor hallway lined with large candles along the pathway that are illuminating the backdrop. The flickering flames also showed off the all-over metallic sheen of her black gown. On top, the dress delivered an optical illusion that almost made it like two pieces, forming half of a button-front crop top on her right side, but dipping down to the floor on her right.
Below her bare naval, the skirted bottom connected on her left and hugged her hip on the right. Fastening only with two buttons at her left hip, the skin-baring slit continued all the way down to the floor. On the accessory front, she opted for a black-and-white bag and slipped into strappy heeled sandals to finish off her look. She wore little more than what looked to be stud earrings when it came to her jewelry, letting the dress take the style spotlight. Elly Karamoh, who styled the ensemble, has been working with Harvey for some time.
Harvey is currently in Miami for the Chanel Cruise 2022/23 presentation. Though first shown on the runway in May in Monte-Carlo, it has now come stateside for a second showing. Though Harvey's style often runs the gamut, she's become more of a fashion risk taker lately. Just last week, the 25-year-old stepped onto the red carpet of the Wearable Art Gala in Santa Monica, CA, wearing a purple gown with a plunging neckline and yet another lengthy slit. Just a week prior to that, she headed to the launch party for Cash by Cash App x LaQuan Smith wearing a sheer illusion catsuit with an oversize moto jacket and stiletto heels.
