We'd be lying if we told you that the dork inside of us didn't let out a squee of joy this morning upon hearing that Carrie Fisher would be reprising her role as Princess Leia Organa in the "Star Wars Episode VII" film. Hey, those buns, that white robe and, not to mention, that gold bikini are costume icons.
"It was like steel, not steel, but hard plastic, and if you stood behind me you could see straight to Florida. You'll have to ask Boba Fett about that," Fisher once recounted about the aforementioned two-piece.
Like we said, Leia's distinct style has gone down in history for sci-fi nerds and pop culture lovers alike. As such, many famous ladies have tried their hands at the space-age look.
