If you know anything about Andrew Christian underwear, you know that their promotional videos are risqué, their models are hot, and the brand is synonymous with sex. Having proven with their continued success that sex really does sell, the Los Angeles-based brand is now trying to prove that safer sex sells, too, in a promotion aimed at engaging men in a "new sexual revolution."
The University of Pennsylvania is known for its diverse student body, and the only way to properly describe the typical Penn student would be with the word "atypical." Ask any student what makes him or her unique, and you will always be surprised and amazed at the diverse range of interests of the Penn student body. The average Penn student is the opera singer that lives down the hall, your sorority sister that owns a free-trade clothing company or the ballet dancer that can choreograph a beautifully mesmerizing dance to just about any song.
In Hollywood, it's a stylist's nightmare to send a celebrity client to a red carpet event in a dress that's -- gasp -- already been worn by someone else. Of course, there are exceptions. Like the ubiquitous Stella McCartney peplum dress.
NEW YORK -- A Tiffany & Co. subsidiary is suing Costco, claiming the wholesale club operator has been selling engagement rings wrongly labeled "Tiffany" rings.
The high-end jeweler filed lawsuit in U.S. District Court in New York on Thursday.
Tiffany and Company alleges trademark infringement, counterfeiting, unfair competition, injury to business reputation, false advertising and deceptive business practices. The company says the rings are not in fact Tiffany rings, nor are they in any way properly associated with Tiffany.
