Last night at the TIME 100 Gala cocktail party hosted at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, the Girls creator waltzed down the red carpet in an iridescent golden halter dress with a plunging neckline from Saint Laurent's fall 2013 collection. Though Dunham opted to cut down on some of Hedi Slimane's grunge styling, leaving a plaid flannel at home and swapping out moto boots for black T-strap heels, she still chose a pearl-and-spikes belt and managed to look like an edgy, glimmering fairy (complete with stylishly cropped pixie hair). For the rest of the evening, she posed on the red carpet with Christina Aguilera and Miguel and shared tons of kisses with people like Claire Danes and Padma Lakshmi.
