Kylie Jenner celebrated New Year's Eve in style, sporting the very same sheer, mesh Alaïa catsuit that Cardi B rocked in Miami at the end of November. Though she did branch out with a champagne-toned Mugler outfit for her mother's annual Christmas party, the 25-year-old has been sticking diligently to her all-black wardrobe since Paris Fashion Week.
Jenner posted a carousel of four photos to her Instagram on New Year's Day, showcasing the way in which she styled the fishnet design for her evening out. The look, originally shown with matching opera-length gloves, was pulled straight from the runway of the fashion house's fall 2022 collection, which debuted last January. The catsuit features a plunging, bustier-style top with thin spaghetti straps. Jenner wore black satin pointed-toe pumps on her feet and topped off the ensemble with an oversize hooded fur jacket and leather gloves. With her hair pulled back into a ballet bun, she accessorized simply with large diamond stud earrings. Though her makeup was fairly understated, she added a pop of color with a dark red lip. She captioned the slew of photos "NYE."
While this is far from the first time Jenner has slipped into a catsuit (in fact, she and her sisters are huge proponents of the trend for day or night), it's the second time in recent history that she's opted for something head-to-toe sheer. In November, she made waves in a nylon turtleneck catsuit at Brooklyn Museum's Thierry Mugler archive exhibition. Though Jenner has entered the new year with a wardrobe she has been fine-tuning for the past several months, we can't wait to see what 2023 holds, whether it be more catsuits or an extension of her Wednesday Addams-inspired color palette.
