Kylie Jenner may have shied away from opening up about her now-famous lips/a> when her face began transforming in front of the cameras, but now, a year later, the 18-year-old star is opening up to her older sister Kim Kardashian on how she quickly grew obsessed with plumping her pout — and about her one regret.
In the August issue of Allure, Kylie was lucky enough to have Kim, who she sites as her modern day beauty icon, take on the role of a reporter. And one of Kim’s biggest questions? Unearthing her baby sister’s biggest beauty regrets, which isn’t all that surprising.
“Well, I definitely made my lips a little too big at one point,” Jenner said, adding, “I got excited and felt like I needed to do a lot.”
The young beauty mogul continued, claiming that after multiple sessions, she was dangerously close to making a guest appearance on a plastic-surgery-gone-bad reality TV show: “And then you guys were like, ‘Kylie, you need to chill,'” Jenner said. “And then I had to go back and have it fixed, and it was a crazy process. Thank God I didn’t end up on Botched.”

In the same interview, Jenner also touched on the fact that thanks to her older sisters, she’s much more knowledgeable in the beauty space (she credits Khloé for reminding her to always wear sunscreen and eye cream), which has helped shaped both her personal life and career. And now, she’s hyper-focused on expanding Kylie Cosmetics from just Lip Kits to an entire makeup line — with a possible storefront.
“My main focus is my cosmetics line,” she told Kim. “I’m putting all my energy toward that and making it the best I can.”
To which Kardashian responded with approval: “I don’t think I’ve ever gotten more requests for anything than the Lip Kits,” she said. “I have to finagle some out of Mom just to keep people happy. It’s so crazy. I’m so happy [for you]…and I want to come over for dinner!”
