Kylie Jenner has returned to Paris for the menswear shows, following her memorable appearance at Couture Week in October. The 25-year-old beauty mogul first attended John Galliano's co-ed presentation for Maison Margiela on Jan. 22, taking place at its headquarters at 12 Place des États-Unis.
Jenner, who works with stylist duo Alexandra and Mackenzie Grandquist, wore a custom take on one of the runway looks. She stepped out in a wrinkled silk light blue minidress with a choppy hemline; multilayered check coat with cascading tulle ruffles; metallic 5AC Classique baby bag; and rhinestone-encrusted silver Tabi pumps. Jenner's makeup artist went heavy on the sparkle, with glitter eyeshadow and a glossy caramel lip. Her dark hair was secured into a balloon-like low bun at the nape of her neck. Jenner did not withhold getting-ready photos from her fans, sharing Instagram Stories of her nude latex lingerie, comprised of a set of boy shorts and a cone-bra bustier.
Jenner's look spoke to the theme of the presentation, which included both a digital display and a traditional runway show. Galliano continued to build on the Southern Gothic tale of ill-fated lovers Count and Hen, who he introduced with his Artisanal 2022 line called Cinema Inferno. According to a press release from the fashion house, Galliano's latest designs were inspired by youth-centric ideals, juxtaposing a sense of rebellion with joyful childhood memories. In partnership with The Walt Disney Company, Margiela also crafted parody Mickey Mouse ears and plaid Pendleton shirts worn back-to-front, blending fantasy with punk sensibilities. The collection also introduced the label's eyewear collaboration with Gentle Monster.
