Kim Kardashian likes to keep people guessing when it comes to her wardrobe. After a brief stint wearing Balenciaga's spandex pieces that completely covered her from head to toe, Kardashian is experimenting with even more of the brand's polarizing trends. And it makes sense: as muse of creative director Demna's label and star of the latest campaign, she's bound to reach for pieces that may not have even debuted on the runway.
For lunch with her sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian at Il Fornaio in LA, Kardashian opted for a terry-cloth, flame-print turtleneck that acted as the foundation for a look the internet immediately associated with Disney's "The Incredibles." The meme-spawning outfit was complete with what appears to be cherry-red, neoprene knife boots and a leather wrap skirt cinched at the waist with a thin tie belt. Kardashian pulled the sleeves of her fiery top over red leather gloves to give off the illusion of a full-body catsuit - not unlike the one she wore on stage at the People's Choice Awards, accessorized with similarly kitschy sunglasses. The Balenciaga glasses in question are part of the fluffy collection that includes the matching Hourglass bag she carried (now sold out, but available for more than $2,000 upon request).
Kardashian, of course, has a lot to celebrate as her family premiere their new show, "The Kardashians," on Hulu. She also recently launched swimwear for her shapewear brand, Skims, and made her relationship with Pete Davidson Instagram official. Ahead, see the business mogul's latest street style moment that has the internet buzzing. Then, check out the latex dress she wore on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," her bold moment in ultradistressed denim, and the caution-tape catsuit she wore to Balenciaga's fall/winter 2022 show last month - clearly, one of many experimental Balenciaga statements to come.
