We've long bemoaned the Kanye Westification of Kim Kardashian's wardrobe. Ever since the two got together in 2012, we've only seen Kimmy in monochromatic, architectural ensembles. We even got solid proof of his influence when Kanye made his "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" debut only to spend it trashing his girlfriend's closet. But it's ok: Kim doesn't seem to mind.
"I dress for my man way more than for myself!" the reality star told Us Weekly during a promotional event for Kardashian Kurves, the plus-sized line for Sears she launched with her sisters. "He likes cool, drapey things," she added. "Very casual."
We don't know if "casual" is the term we'd use. Thus far, Kim's maternity wear has consisted of either ornate, body con dresses or complicated (read: ill-fitting) suiting. Perhaps she's caving under all of the pressure? She is sharing the pregnancy spotlight with a royal baby-carrying duchess, after all.
Fortunately, there's one thing Kim knows Kanye wants her to wear: "Nothing!" Even though we're sure the 32-year-old was joking, we can't help but think that Mr. West took the reigns during their recent sans-clothing L'Officiel shoot. Kim said it herself: Whatever Kanye says goes.
