Kim Kardashian West‘s mane game is never over. Less than a month after going platinum blonde, the 34-year-old star is back to brunette — on set anyway.

Kim’s makeup artist and close friend Mario Dedivanovic shared a photo on Instagram of the star in her go-to style uniform — a curve-hugging pencil skirt and crop top. But the first thing we noticed were those long, brunette waves.
“Brunette vibes today on set … guess who? #MakeupByMario,” Mario captioned the photo. Kim’s hairstylist Jen Atkin didn’t give any further hints about the star’s do, which we’re guessing is a wig. Or maybe she decided to go dark again and add her extensions back in? We’ll have to wait for her next mirror selfie to confirm, but we think it’s probably faux.

Kim did tell PEOPLE recently her blonde hair wouldn’t be a permanent change. “It was a really last minute decision, and I loved taking this risk,” she said, adding, “It’s a fun look, but I’m not sure how long it’ll last — but a fun break for now.”
