Katy Perry's latest outfit proves more is actually more. The "American Idol" judge wore an animal-print set and sequin crop top for her "Jimmy Kimmel Live" appearance on Feb. 16, and ya know what? It totally worked. With styling input from Tatiana Waterford, Perry chose an oversize zebra-print blazer and miniskirt from The Attico's resort 2023 collection. The low-rise skirt featured an asymmetrical waist, wraparound front, and daring slit on one side. Rather than pairing the set with the label's matching crop top, she added some sparkle with a halter top dripping in silver chains and large disc-like sequins.
Upon arrival at Kimmel's studio in Los Angeles, Perry slouched her jacket off the shoulders to let her dazzling top shine like a disco ball. She treated the parking lot like her personal runway, strutting in a pair of black leather thigh-high boots from Italian shoe brand Paris Texas. The "Never Really Over" singer finished the look with black Balenciaga sunglasses, small silver hoop earrings, pink lipstick, and a classic french manicure.
Perry is the latest celebrity to hop aboard the low-rise skirt bandwagon. Fellow singer Dua Lipa is a known fan of the skin-baring silhouette, as evidenced by the thong-exposing micro miniskirt she wore in November during her Future Nostalgia tour. Other celebrity adoptees of the trend include Halsey, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, and Sydney Sweeney, to name a few.
