Here at PeopleStyle, we’re obsessed with hot dudes wearing bow ties (I mean, who isn’t?) And we love Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s bow tie company, Tie the Knot’s, awesome pop culture mash-ups. So when he combined the two with his new guest designer, we were all in. Hunger Games star, Josh Hutcherson was tapped by the brand to create his very own (very Captial-esque) piece that benefits a good cause. We caught up with the star before he headed to a Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 event to see the tie up close and personal.

As part of their new 15-piece limited-edition collection, Tie the Knot recruited the actor to design a piece in support of his organization, Straight But Not Narrow (which helps establish positive perception of and behavior towards LGBTQ peers). Hutcherson’s piece comes in a solid back pebbled texture with a faint neon lime stripe (and its sleek leather-vibe looks like it could be straight from the Hunger Games set).

“My work with Straight But Not Narrow has always been about allowing people to be whoever they are,” Hutcherson said in a press release. “It’s okay to be yourself and you should actively support others to do the same. We created our bow tie with Tie the Knot to help raise awareness and funds to keep our efforts moving forward. Rocking this tie means you are letting people around you know that you support them and their pursuit to become the best person they can be.”

The rest of the collection focuses on Old Hollywood glamour, with a variety of plaid, floral, striped and art deco-inspired prints. Each piece retails for $25, and $20 of every purchase will be donated to Tie The Knot, which fights for LGBTQ marriage equality. We want to know what you think!
