Think women across the country will be going into salons asking for this instead of The Rachel? We wouldn’t bet money on it, but we applaud Jennifer Aniston, nonetheless, for trying something new with her hair. At the Spike TV Guys’ Choice Awards on Saturday, she ditched her go-to center-parted strands for a deep side-part and a mini French braid. (Don’t worry, the world isn’t ending — she didn’t ditch her go-to LBD for the show.)

The actress took to the stage to present her pal Jimmy Kimmel with the Funniest M.F. Award sporting a single plait that started at her left temple and curved down behind her ear.

It took a few moments for us to get used to seeing Aniston rocking something so edgy (does it remind anyone else of Pink’s new look?), but we have to admit we’re into it.
