It's World AIDS Day - See How Fashion and Beauty Brands Are Contributing to the Cause

In honor of World AIDS Day, stylish brands across the globe — from Victoria Beckham‘s clothing label to cosmetics giant, M.A.C Cosmetics — have created limited-edition items to raise funds and awareness for those with and those affected by AIDS. Below, ways you can shop for a worthy cause and give back this holiday season.

Victoria Beckham’s T-Shirt
Beckham, who is a Global Goodwill Ambassador for UNAIDS, put her design skills to the test this World AIDS Day to create a limited-edition, cutesy graphic tee and key ring to raise funds for the organization.

“The world has committed to end the AIDS epidemic as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and I truly believe this is a real possibility,” Beckham said in a statement. “We have come such a long way in the fight against AIDS. Huge global efforts have created proven results, and more and more people are accessing treatment and prevention services.”

She added: “But we are not there yet. There are still people being left behind due to gender inequalities, stigma and discrimination and lack of resources. In my role as a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador I am proud to take a stand, speaking up for change and pushing on towards our common goal of ending AIDS.”

The colorful heart-adorned tee retails for $140, while the key ring is $275 at victoriabeckham.com. All proceeds from the sales will go toward UNAIDS.

Gap’s (RED) Collection
Gap has teamed up with (Red) again this year for an exclusive clothing collection, featuring a stylish denim jacket, bright-red logo tees and even an adorable onesie for babies. Each (RED) product sold benefits the Global Fund and its mission to fight to end AIDS.

Fresh’s (Red) Lip Product
Everyone’s favorite lip balm now comes in (RED)! Fresh has partnered with (RED) for the organization’s first-ever collaboration with a beauty brand, Suga(Red) Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 — and it smells amazing.

Twenty-five percent of the retail price ($22.50) will go to the U.S. Fund for the Global Fund, which provides more than two weeks of HIV/AIDS medication in Africa.

M.A.C Cosmetics’ Viva Glam Line
Each year, M.A.C taps a mega celebrity, like this year’s spokesperson, Miley Cyrus, to front its charitable Viva Glam collection, which raises funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS. (Previous brand ambassadors include Rihanna and Fergie.)

“I have the opportunity to teach my fans about what Viva Glam represents, and to educate them about HIV/AIDS prevention and being safe,” Cyrus shared of collaborating with the beauty brand. “So many people are scared to talk to their kids about what’s important, and if I can be the one that speaks up and educates young people, then I will.”

Every penny made from this year’s two-product line, complete with a bright-orange lipstick and equally vibrant lipglass, will go toward women, men and children living with and affected by AIDS.

Jimmy Kimmel’s (Red) “Shopathon”
And lastly, Jimmy Kimmel is hosting a special “shopathon” show during Jimmy Kimmel Live!, with special appearances by Bono, Scarlett Johansson, The Killers, Olivia Wilde and many more, in order to raise money for (RED) on Dec. 1.

We can’t promise a special song and dance, but you might want to put on your dancing shoes before tuning in!
