Jennifer Garner hasn't taken on major roles in the last few years, but that doesn't mean that she has been out of the public eye. The Houston native, who got her start in theater and later went on to star in blockbuster hits like "13 Going on 30" and "Daredevil," is still front and center in just about every major tabloid -- people are fascinated by her domestic life and perfect Hollywood marriage to Ben Affleck.
In celebration of her 41st birthday today (April 17), we're taking a look back at an old photo of the actress. In this 1999 snapshot, she is seen with her then-boyfriend, Scott Foley. Clearly Garner has always gone for minimalist looks, as she's donning simple black pants, an Oxford shirt and an oatmeal colored coat. Her cute dimples make us smile, but it's those round glasses that are making us think of her lookalike daughter, Violet.
