Alec Baldwin's 17-year-old daughter Ireland is making a name for herself, having just signed with IMG Models and Two Management. The teenage beauty sat down for a chat with The New York Post, and posed in a bikini in 40 degree weather for her first-ever photo shoot -- for the paper her famous father would probably like to use as toilet paper.
Ireland clearly isn't about to fight her father's battles, as she told the Post:
"You know, he has his own agenda and I have my own. I think he’s very outspoken and he has his opinions, and he’s him and I’m me, and I know he’s done things that he regrets himself and that he’s sorry for, but you know, the past is the past."
Though Ireland has already amassed more than 30,000 followers on Twitter, (due in part to the bikini photos she's known to post), until this point the blonde was best known for being at the wrong end of one of her father's outbursts, in which he called her "a rude, thoughtless, little pig," back in 2007.
Ireland previously addressed the infamous phone message that was leaked, telling Page Six magazine, "People made that out to be a way bigger deal than it was. He’s said stuff like that before because he’s frustrated. For me, it was like, ‘OK, whatever.’ ”
The new model also opened up to the Post about her relationship with stand-up paddle boarder Slater Trout,17, who she's been dating for seven months -- admitting that she "stalked" him online before they got together.
“I stalked him on Instagram for a really long time. And I kind of got brave and decided to Twitter message him because he was following me, as well," she told the paper, adding that they talked for two months before they ended up running into each other by chance at a Starbucks.
And although it was just eight months ago that she told the Post she planned on saving sex for marriage, she now has a different outlook.
“For a long time, yeah, that’s kind of what I believed in ... now I have a different outlook," she explained.
